Berlin - Long Night of Museums (August 27, 2022)
For all fans of art, culture, science - or the bizarre: on Saturday, August 27, 2022, the 40th Long Night of Museums will take place in Berlin.
Over 70 museums, over 700 events - 1 ticket

Officially, the Long Night of Museums will be opened at 6 pm by Bettina Jarasch on the Museum Island in front of the Altes Museum. From 6 pm you can discover as many museums as you like until 2 am. For children and families, some museums open earlier, e.g. the "MACHmit! Museum" from 3 pm. This year, by the way, 15 museums are participating for the first time.
What's the best way to get from A to B?
In general, probably: BVG, walking or biking works the fastest, depending on the route. However, 3 shuttle bus lines have also been set up:
Blue line: between Lustgarten (Museum Island) and Charlottenburg Palace.
Pink line: between Hamburger Bahnhof and Checkpoint Charlie
Green Line: between the Hohenschönhausen Memorial and the Stasi Headquarters (Campus for Democracy) in Lichtenberg.
The Blue and Pink Lines meet at Potsdamer Platz (Varian-Fry-Straße), so you can change from one line to the other.
Also handy: with your tickets you can redeem a 10€ voucher for the Jelbi app at the Jelbi pop-ups. The Jelbi credit will remain valid for one month from 27/08. But this year the entrance tickets are not "free tickets" for the local transport: for that you need e.g. the 9€ ticket.
Tickets for the Long Night of Museums
