Berlin - Long Night of Sciences (July 02, 2022)

Updated: Jan 31

On July 02, 2022, the time has come again: Berlin invites you to the Long Night of Science (LNOS). Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the LNOS had to be cancelled in the last two years.

In 2022, everything will be under the theme "Fake News? Be smarter!" During the pandemic in particular, he said, it became clear how important science and research are in solving many problems. At the same time, he said, science must always ensure that it remains understandable and tangible for everyone, so as to leave no room for conspiracy theories and fake news.

The Long Night of Science will take place on July 2 from 5 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Berlin and at the Telegrafenberg in Potsdam. Your ticket gives you access to around 1,400 events organized by more than 60 scientific institutions. By the way, it's not just about science and technology: the thematic areas have something to offer for all visitors, such as art and culture, medicine and health, people and society and, of course, science and technology. This year, for the first time, the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK - Universität der Künste) will also be taking part. The scientists will present their topics not only in lectures, but also with hands-on experiments, discussions, performances and much more.

Tickets

Tickets are only available online this year. The regular price is 14€, and reduced tickets are available for 9€. There are also other offers for families and groups.

For the more distant events, there are special buses to help you get between the scientific institutions. Of course you can use the special buses with your admission ticket.
